ProfScho Quarterly is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. We request all authors, reviewers, and editors to adhere to the principles outlined below.
Originality: All submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the author(s) and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Manuscript Preparation:
Format: Manuscripts should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).
Language: The journal accepts manuscripts written in English only.
Length: Research articles should be between 3000 and 8000 words, inclusive of footnotes and bibliography.
Formatting: The text should be double-spaced, using a 12-point Times New Roman font.
First Page: The first page should contain the title of the paper, the name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s), and a brief biographical note. For blind review, a separate title page should be submitted.
Abstract and Keywords: The manuscript must include an abstract of 150-250 words and 4-6 relevant keywords.
Citation Style:
ProfScho Quarterly follows the Chicago Manual of Style (17th Edition) - Notes and Bibliography system.
All citations must be provided in numbered footnotes.
A full bibliography of all cited works must be included at the end of the manuscript.
Authors can refer to the official Chicago Manual of Style Online for detailed examples.
Submission Process: Manuscripts should be emailed to info.profscho@gmail.com . The submission email should include the manuscript and a separate title page file.
Our ethical policies are based on the guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Authorship: All individuals listed as authors must have made a significant intellectual contribution to the research. Any person who contributed but does not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged.
Plagiarism: The journal has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism and self-plagiarism. All submissions will be checked using plagiarism detection software Turnitin. Nothing over 10% similarity is allowed
Data Fabrication and Falsification: Submitting fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate data is unethical and will lead to immediate rejection or retraction.
Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
Duties of Reviewers: Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively and confidentially. They should declare any conflicts of interest and should not use information from the manuscript for their own benefit.
Duties of Editors: The editorial team is responsible for making final publication decisions based solely on the manuscript's academic merit, originality, and relevance, without any discrimination.
